trying to figure out... (please help)

So i was reading poems the other day, and came across one where the prompt was about this Australian (well i believe it was Australian. though i can be wrong) who committed suicide.1

And prior to having done so, she said something along the lines of
"they say when you die you feel nothing, nothing is what i want"
now i cant identify who she was.2

i was thinking possibly "Sylvia Plath" but i believe the author/poet i'm looking for is Australian, anyways any help would be very very much appreciated

the person had a poem, inspired by this quote. not exactly in the poem but in the AN.

They gave the name of who wrote it before they killed them self, but i cant remember where i found it for the life of me. And i'd really like to get the authentic quote
