You can do it. Don't focus on what you can't do or what you haven't been able to. Focus on what you can do and try and formulate your emotions.

I'll try =]
I just have difficulty understanding myself.

i know how you feel, trust me.

but you CAN write.

you CAN write too.
your an amazing writer, jackie. i've been reading my favorite poetry from you and it makes me feel so much. right now, your just going through something most writers experience; that emotion where you want to write something, but the words won't come out.
they will soon, though. i promise. (: -

thank you.
I go through this a lot, and I'm really envous of people who just... they HAVE to stop writing because it hurts them to write, and it hurts me not to.

FML????
I felt this frustration yesterday. The one write I did manage sounded like I'd snatched a load of post it noted with my half written thoughts and transcribed them to screen,...without any kind of plausible connection.

I can't even even get the words down. I just think it's all cliche or I write about the same stuff too much or I just use the same old vocabulary. and it makes it hard to read other people's poetry because it makes me jealous.

I have read some of your prose works, and they make ME jealous, so I get that too...

Or quotes? (http://allpoetry.com/column/show/2350515)
As for cliché, LIFE is a cliché. Things become cliché as soon as they happen more than twice. The world is one. So worry not, my friend. -
-
heh, thanks.
i'll take a look at those.
yeah, life is a cliche, it's just that no one wants to read cliche poetry. -
-
And I think that's because they're afraid to face life.

so today my friend and I were just trying to leave the movie theatre. that's ALL we were doing. and this truck trying to turn right out of the Taco Bell parking lot decides that he IS going to go in front of us. so we don't let him. and he gets really irritated and everything but doesn't do anything except inch closeon Nov 27 9:58 PM, 100 words. → 10 comments, Add one?
