Quick song... my new fave song... :3

We were talking-about the space between us all
And the people-who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth-then it's far too late-when they pass away.
We were talking-about the love we all could share-when we find it
To try our best to hold it there-with our love
With our love-we could save the world-if they only knew.
Try to realize it's all within yourself
No-one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small,
And life flows ON within you and without you.
We were talking-about the love that's gone so cold and the people,
Who gain the world and lose their soul-
They don't know-they can't see-are you one of them?
When you've seen beyond yourself-then you may find, peace of mind,
Is waiting there-
And the time will come when you see
we're all one, and life flows on within you and without you.1

(Within you, without you - The Beatles)2

OMG, today's the first time that I heard this song... and I realize that it's so true! (And when I had it on repeat for three times after my classday... like... omg... the trees were dancing to the beat and it was so freaking... it felt like... Well, it was like I had found a song that connected me with nature! It was like an enlightenment... you know, meditation wise? ^_____^ And it made my day)3

And yes, I posted this because it's like such a great song!!!! (It's a great song, really, and check the visuals on the version that has both "Within you, Without you" with "Tomorrow never knows"...4

Just open your mind and listen.7

And I'll wait for any comments. 8

Lol, and yes, this is what's causing me to write a short titled "The Whisper of the Trees". (And yes, it's a nature piece ^___^ It'll be accompanied by an art piece of a humanized tree.)

The Beatles were just a boy band. They appealed to sexually repressed American teen girls, went to India for fake spiritual guidance(laughable really), got high, had sex with society girls and then broke up.
Pretentious and overrated, sorry but they weren't even very interesting.
The song that you quoted was just a drug question, asked by a million stoners when the high hits them just right.
    Beatles, nah.
    Nothing there.

You may be right, they were exactly what you say they were.
They were also millionairre best sellers who did something for their money. so they got an opportunity many of us will never have, it still took talent and motivation.

Well, I'm not exactly praising them. They were humans after all.

Still, yeah, I get what you're saying.

xD It's not like I was trying to change a person's opinion about them. Everyone has a different perspective. But the psychedelic feel got me. xD Then again... well... Omg, dude! You've got me rambling!!!

      Thankies anyhow.
