So i have just discovered no matter how nice I am to people on here, give them extra time to finnish up on contests, bend the rules so they can enter, always willing to help with any problems. There's some people on here, well it seems they just seem to get off on it. Like it's a power trip for them to tell others off and make them realize they better do EVERYTHING THEY FUCKING SAY AND KISS THE GROUND THEY WALK ON, or they can forget about placing. No matter how hard you put your soul into something no matter how hard you worked on something. And Im not talking about me per say Im talking about a few members on here who have worked r eally hard and haven't won a trophy yet, and really just want to. And then I see certain people say "well I only give comments to those who looked like they worked hard to deserve it" How do you know they worked hard or not. Just because maybe their younger and not up to your standards doesn't mean they didn't work hard. Get off your fucking high horse or sooner or later people will get so sick of you they're just gonna push you off. Fine, be a bitch, you have all the rights to say that you are, but I have no idea why you'd be proud to be one, unless your just a lazy slob or peice of ignorant garbage. Thanks have a good day.
P.s- just so all readers know There wasn't on person who I am writting this too or feeling this way against , it is just these people.

I agree one hundred percent to the ppl whom choose to be that way..everyones peices are going to be different and unique..if they were all the same it would be bloody annoying and dull boring wouldnt it!! I totally agree thats why i comment on every single one of my contest entries even if it takes a while..and Im never rude unless they are first..no need for it..whats in it for me in being a rude ignorant person right!! anyways im sorry ppl are pis sing you off lately..i hope ppl open thier eyes and hearts too, so that ppl can take THEM seriously!

I can't tell you how many times I've felt this exact way! You just wish you could reach through the computer screen, grab them by the hair and pound their head into their table tops
Uh... ok... that's the REALLY frustrated reaction! lol
But, I know exactly what you're talking about. And we don't come across these people in just contests either, no. I've come across plenty that get off on telling you off for sharing your point of view and it's contradictory to theirs. Then when you try to explain your statements they don't want to listen to it and they want to carry on and on about how much smarter than you they are and how much better.
These people are generally the ones who are loaded with insecurities and the only way they can feel better about themselves is to knock other people in the dirt. Or they just can't interpret a simple statement. Like you said, how do they know how hard someone worked on something? And I want to know how they can develop such a keen opinion of someone and decide they have to read them the riot act, after reading one sentence that was written.
There are far too many people riding around here on stilted steeds.
And before anyone goes off on ME for what I just said... I said GENERALLY those types of people are the ones on the high horse... not ALL THE TIME...
Sorry had to clarify that... that's when I get the most flack when someone thinks "generally" means I'm referring to everyone LOL.
Whew... my rant's done now
Just brush 'em off and if they keep it up... add them to your ignore list... that's what I do (and there are only 3 on it cause most give up)

haha awesome reply btw!hee hee I know i won't name any names but you can tell wha type of people they are when you look on their profiles and see how they talk about themselves. Like honestly these people are 20 and older yet they dont care they are perceived as a bitch and even agree to it. They act like preteens that haven't hit puberty yet, lol get over it. And actually I haven't really had a fight with anyone this is just annoying and i see it alot on here. These arre the same poeple who get trophies for no offense poetry that is totally off topic. The prompt might be "under a umbrella" and they'll type:
"lucid tears strike under your dress
varnish is multiplying on teeth"
like they think using big words makes it sound smart, and many of time they win cuz i swear people dont understand it themselves so they think it must be so smart and give them a trophy. So really im just asking everyone really read it, no matter how many big words or sseming imagery is in it. does it make sense? lol -

EXACTLY!
I like to use big and smart sounding words in my poetry (like mesonoxian, I just learned that one and LOVE it lol... and it only means "pertaining to the midnight hour"). But, I have never entered a poem into a contest that had nothing to do with that contest.
I'm right there with ya lol.

Sometimes people can surprise you in good ways or in bad. This week I have had many surprises from people, mostly bad. It usually seems to happen when they get on their high horse and think they need to be on the defence.
