I've written a new poem entitled 'Money Spider'. My husband and I were in Stratford-Upon-Avon a week ago and sat underneathe a tree by the Bancroft Gardens when all of a sudden a couple of money spiders crawled on us. This inspired me to write the following poem:1
Money Spider2
Money Spider, Money Spider,
Weave your silvery thread.
Let Fortuna's fly into your gilded lair.
May Lady Luck spread
Her golden wings on me.
As you weave your lucky magic around my hair,
May my pockets overflow with excess money!3
