bittersweet

sweet: i'm gonna get to see one of my favorite bands of all time in concert. for free
you'd think i'd be more excited right? well i was. till this--
bitter: my boyfriend, who really wanted to come, can't go.
we had it all planned out, one of his friends would come (including the friend's dad) one of my friends would come (and so would my mom, since were gonna be driving a couple hours and staying overnight)
so knowing all this we figured it'd be ok with his parents. not so much
they basically said he didn't need to be going on a roadtrip with his girlfriend.
even though we'd be supervised by 2 adults and sleeping in separate hotel rooms.
and according to nick, this is what happens everytime
and we don't know why
i keep telling him how unfair it is that it keeps happening, but he says he's used to it, and just takes it everytime without question

    yay! good day why, you ask? i got to see gi joe with nick, and it was a really good movie we then went out with his family (siblings, parents, grandparents, a couple aunts, and cousin) for his cousin's birthday then we went to his cousin's house for cake fun stuff woot!

    so the past few days in a nutshell: -5 hour drive to philly -taking pictures of the liberty bell -walking a mile to edgar allan poe's old house -walking the mile back -going to flight night for the eagles -flying back home the next day -staying till 11 at my boyfriend's house watchin movies and playing pool -

    so i'm coming home in (exactly) a week. and today i am informed that my boyfriend, who i've gotten into the habit of talking to almost every night this summer, has lost his phone and later today, he's going to his farm, where they don't have a house phone or computer double so we don't get to talk for 3 days
