First Love

How can such good times you had together, just be broken with a few words, that break one of their hearts? How can someone say I love you, and that you meant the world to him,that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you? Then the next day he says he just doesn't want to be with you anymore, that he just wants do date some one else.How can that happen so fast, without any affection? How can he just ask you back out weeks later and tell you it was because he was depressed because of his grades, and he couldn't handle anyone at the time, then you take him back,knowing that he just might break your heart again, to the amount you can't take anymore?Then soon enough he tells your friend he just wants to be good friends with you, and he doesn't want to hurt me anymore.Then I just over reacted, and broke up with himself without asking him his side of the story.How can you believe him when he says he didn't say that to your friend.That he really did want to be with you that one time, if you didn't over react and break up wit him again, that you just might be together right now? 1

How can you tell someone that you still love him, but you are to afraid to, because he just might not have the same feelings?
