I reached that moment in life again, where at those times that you can't make it through yourself, you turn to someone to help you find your way. Reaching out your hand in the darkness where there was once light... Stumbling around, tripping over pieces of your broken heart. Yeah it's a tough life. Hoping, praying, that theirs someone there to take your hand and show you the way. But you have to remember, no matter how much you wish someone was there, your true friends will back away and let you learn. Let you take those stumbling steps, and allowing you to learn to stand tall and be brave through the seemingly never ending darkness. No matter how much you reach, they wont reach back. Watching at a close distance, making sure things don't get too rough. they help without helping, removing objects in your way. Those are true friends. Lessons learned are better learned on your own. It's a tough world we live in, but sometimes you have to do things on your own in order to fix or find what you need fixed or found. Help is a luxury that many of us haven't had in life. Some people struggle day to day, not knowing what its like to be picked up when they've fallen.. Not knowing what its like to feel that someones there every step they take. They are the tough ones. You don't see them much, because many don't survive.. taking that highway road to no where by giving up. But we all have our struggles.. It's how you deal with them that make you who you are. Sometimes, no matter how use you are to being hurt or not having that hand, its good to take who's ever hand is reaching for you. Yes I know i said true friends know when to stay back, but they also know when you need them most. No matter how much you fight the idea and push them away, we know you need us. And we hold our hands out no matter how many times you smack it away. So what I am trying to say is, yes it is up to us to fix what hurts us inside or to heal ourselves, but when someone offers there hand, even if there is nothing they can really do to help, take it. Because just knowing that they are willing, even with no affect, it is the greatest feeling in the world to be cared for, no matter what. PEACE!

Wow, I can't believe I haven't commented on this .. I know I've read it once or twice before .. Maybe I commented on it on Facebook ?
Either way. I think you did an amazing job with this journal, hun. It expresses exactly what best friends try to describe to their friends when they're going through a struggle, but that they never seem to understand. Even when they think we're not there, we always are.
Great job, love ♥
