Can anyone suggest some good books of poetry by some contemporary poets? Something vaguely similar to the kind of poetry I write? 2
Thanks, mon amis.3

Here's a posting I did of a few published AP Poets, George. Their information is attached for ordering.

George go peruse Tupelo Press.
They are responsible for discovering some major new talents. If you look at their book listings they offer snippets of work to give you a better idea of who you might like to read. I buy a 3-4 books from them a year.
When I get a minute I will give you a short list of who I have enjoyed.

Thanks, Cat. I'll look into that, sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, definitely would need to see snippets before buying.

I just got a new computer, a Mac Book Pro, which has a built in video camera and imovie software, so I couldn't resist making a little video of myself reading one of my poems. Not the most dramatic poetry reading, but hopefully it won't put you to sleep. It's on YouTube at: 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS_OY

Another list I did.
