Bandit

June 16, 2009, at 3:34 p.m. Bandit left me. I made the decision to put him to sleep. He was 15 years old and in pain. My heart broke and is breaking.1

I had Bandit for 14 of those 15 years. He has been through everything with me; walking to the laundry mat, to the store, through a boyfriend who wasn’t very nice, to my husband, five moves, two baby girls, another dog moving in, a cat that attacked him whenever he could, to now…2

Bandit, had mouth cancer, arthritis, and a heart murmur. He could no longer see or hear and he walked around in a circle.3

But as I told my girls, and will continue to tell them, he is now able to see and hear again, he can run and bark and most importantly he can do his ‘Happy Dance’ again. 4

That’s the one thing I will miss the most, his ‘Happy Dance’.
He use to greet me by getting up on his two hind feet and jumping up and down, with his paws waving. It was a great sight.5

He was a great dog and I’m glad I rescued him from that horrible family.6

Rest in the peace you deserve, Bandit.

  • Not really anything to talk about, but felt I need to here. I've been on AP, SW and now AJ for over two years and feel that I shouldn't be quiet. What good does that do me? None! I love being here. I've meet some amazing people, learned about some amazing places and laughed. Oh how I've laughed at the humor and
