Did You Miss Me?

Hey everyone. I thought I would drop a line to let you know what is going on with me. I took a brief hiatus from the site and from writing in general to clear my mind. I had a lot of resting to do and had to get my batteries recharged. The poems written here by me, are very painful and this site reminded me of that pain I went through over these last seven months. But I am happy to say that I am GREAT! Since 2005 I had been in two relationships that lasted a total of 2 1/2 years that both ended really bad. So now I have made a commitment...I am going to devote at least 2 1/2 years loving and being in love with myself!!! It is important that I take at least that time because I have to get back to being me. Be devoted to me. In order to accomplish this I took a week vacation to Miami and had a blast. So much of a good time I can't even explain it with words let alone write it. Over this period I also realized the importance of my friends. My friends are awesome and I often neglect them when I am in a relationship. They helped me out to get this much needed vacation rolling. 1

Maybe down the line I will find someone that is good for me, but I am content with the way things are now. I'll take the time that is needed to get what I need/want. I am so happy to be single. I have so many plans and so much to look forward to. Life right now is as close to perfect as it could possible be and I am grateful!!! If anyone wants to get close to me, they will have to wait until I am ready never again will I rush into something because it "feels" right! 2

I know some have been worried about me and I thank you, but know I am OK! 3

As far as my poetry and what to expect oh my...I hope your ready....expect more sensual writes from me, expect more writes about happiness, love and spirituality. That is where I am right now. I hope these writes will help people feel good about life and the beauty all around us and the blessings that we do have. Also I like to keep it real so expect writes about my current dates that I go on and the feelings involved. Expect writes about sex (having and wanting). Overall expect writes from a single gay man that is loving life. I hope you enjoy these new writes and still continue to read me even though they wont be dark and depressing. But they will be fun, energetic and positive, because that is where I am right now. 4

Of course I will pepper some rants in there about lost love (not a particular person, but in general). But my poems are a reflection of me and this is where I am right now! 5

    Nice to hear that you are doing well, I have not gotten to talk to you much. Me I am older now, 24, but still look 16, dammit!.. The Hubby starts a assistant manager job over at Papa Murphy's on the 2nd, so that will be good.

  • First Book Part Deux
