so i have been having an incredible week! some highlights:
-just found out i get to work at the writing center next semester! i'm a little nervous, but super thrilled and excited!
-got to spend some time with rain, one of my very favorite people, and hear about how she was majorly blessed today
-have actually been making a decent amount of progress on my research paper
-senior readings were amazing!
-such an awesome roomate
-stomach has been easily contented and relatively calm
-delicious food
-excellent conversations and company at meals
-small ways i have been able to help and encourage others
-feel calmer, more steady and at peace
-one of this week's "little helpers" at work for being "always optimistic, polite, hard-working, appreciative, and kind," which means a lot to me because sometimes i feel like i'm just obnoxious and a burden on my coworkers
-lovely weather, perfect combo of sun and rain

Found this online, and thought it a good reminder: Normal eating is being able to eat when you are hungry and eating until you are satisfied. It is being able to choose food you like and eating until you get enough of it, not just stopping because you think you should. I am not what I eat. I am trying my best to listen to my body, to nurture it with the nutrition it needs, so that I have the strength and energy to devote to living. I'm striving for balance, awareness, satisfaction.
