My sOilder LeFt mE at 10

I came from the background of the unfit.I mean these people were the worst of the worst,all day long all they wanted to do was drink. Parties went on most of the time and i always did as i was told and that was "stay in a child's place. But what place was that for me when the adult touched me the way that a child is not to be touched? It went on for a while cause i was afraid to tell.But when my father found out he hit the roof , Now my dad only stood 5'4 but in my eyes he was 10 feet tall and bulletproof. he went at the man with full force while my mama was screaming in the background saying James please!. My dad did'nt show no mercy cause all he knew is that that man had touched his babygirl and that he no longer deserved to live. But being the merciful man that my dad was he let the fool go. tHen he told him that he did not ever want to see him again or he would finish the job. God allowed me to have my dad for 5 more years after that I was ten when he died. In those 5 years he gave me the keys that i needed to live and these are the keys that i teach to my kids still to this day cause they were the keys that his dad taught to him before he died when my dad had just turned 10.then to make it more interesting for you i have 5 kids all blessed ,beautiful, and bright. They are derrick, eevie,myjah,darryl,and then there is semaj. Now to call attention to the pattern that is at hand now. My dad and his dad was both 42 when they died i and my dad were both 10. meaning i was 10 when my dad died at 42 and my dad was 10 when his dad died at 42. Now the bit to this story is that when i turn 42 in 7 years my son semaj will be 10 .His name and all says it that what he is , semaj is JaMeS backwards. Now back to the teachings my dad taught me before he died ...and they were.1. Always put Christ before you and have no fear cause there is nothing no man on this earth can do to you .2. Always be in the head never let yourself come to the point of having to depend on a man cause he dont have to be there. and 3. Protect you kids at all cost, dont have them if you cant if you cant take care of them. With these teachings i raise my children and I thank GOD every day for there blessings and for the love they give to me cause children are so precious and should be care for at all cost .
