I haven't been a loyal member here for a long time, so I feel a little like a thief, stealing back, peeking at what the poet's have been penning. Still, I'm drawn, and have to follow the call! I've been writing forever, through a thirty year relationship with addiction, and for fourteen years since finally getting clean and making a new life for myself. I go through long stretches these days of not writing creatively because my job demands a lot of reports, goal plans, assessments and such, and it drains me of all creative juices and takes way too much of my time. I have deleted my family links here, because I haven't been a good family member, and so would rather be just friends, instead of feeling the guilt for not being supportive when I know that I should.
