I've been writing songs and poems for about 15 years and only recently plucked up the courage to send one off and it was published.
I had a dark childhood but not bad, i was just very shy and introspective and poetry was my way of expressing all the things I couldn't actually say!
I now believe, at 35, life is too short to keep your creativity to yourself. Every one is different and we should all be allowed to express that in individual ways and celebrate our individuality.
Who's to say if something is right or wrong, good or bad. It's all personal taste and I like hearing other opinions, good or bad to my poems. All comments are encouraged as long as they are constructive!
