Not a true poet, though a fan of reading poetry. However, in training to teach I am exploring my 'discomfort zone' by taking a creative writing unit in which poetry is required of me... figure that if I am going to ask high school students to write creatively for assessment then I'd better experience that myself first so I can avoid being a hypocrite.
