When I write, I tend to say one thing when I mean another. In some cases, only the people who know the true story will know what I'm really talking about, and sometimes they don't get it either. I try to use the "altered" version of the story to express the same thing I would express in the real story but I usually downplay the emotions. The one time I let my words fly, it came across angrier that I wanted it to, so I try to change some things so the write-ups I do don't come across as harsh.
