Alright, so my name is Jocelyn, and i'm 17 years old. I am a seinor in high school (still) and i'm having the time of my life. Two years ago i hit a rough patch, i was diagnosed with depression, SAD, and anxiety. Since then i have gone through several hospitalizations, a few counselors, and two psychyatrists. I am working hard on getting better, although this is probably the hardest struggle i have.
Anyway, i love to ride horses, and i am working on buying my own soon. I used to lease a 7 year old quarter horse but his owner moved and took him with her. next winter i am heading 13 hours away from home to west virginia so i can go to one of the best equestrian colleges in the country. i cant wait.
i dont really like any rhymes, so pretty much all of my poems are free verse.

its hard to see the pain behind the mask
bearing the burden of a secret storm
sometime she wishes she was never born.
through the wind and the rain,
she stands hard as a stone.
in this world that she cant rise above.
but her dreams give her wings,
and she flies to a place where she's loved.
