if you were to ask those people that have walked up onto my porch and into my life you would find:
i am loving, helpful, opinionated, exasperating, needy, giving, selfish, selfless, remarkable smart, extraordinarily stupid, and loving.

there is beauty in the world in the smallest of things, like when only the hint of a smile can light your day. or a nod instead of a wink can echo hollow in your soul.

the problem with early alzheimer's is that even the most important things fade, unless they get refreshed or re-enforced.. and the only crime is losing that piece of your life you hold most important.

rejoice!
the past is but a preview of our future
a pink canvas eager and waiting for a lovers mark
the bounce that left me laughing when last we spoke
and the swelling of new pride to come

to call soft the wind, and curtains of krystal
the crisis of faith that we prayed soon be ending
i reach out my hands to feel each flake tingle
snowflakes from heaven on the tip of my tounge

to dance in the desert and laugh in the rain
then watch the seeds planted bloom over again
where age is a number uncounted by some
our lives twined in preview
love, forever young!

Oh! and while tequila may richly deserve it's reputation, it may also have contributed to some of the WORST barroom poetry know to exist.
