James119Show poetry

Having thought for many years on how I should try writing as a way of understanding life a little better, I decided it's now or never. (January 1, 2008)

I think essays on life lessons and personal reflections will dominate; but for now it is poetry. This seems like a good site to read, study and hopefully contribute.

Much of what I write is experimental for me. This is why I much appreciate critiques on it.

When reading others' work, for various reasons I will not always comment. I probably read six poems for each comment given. Please don't be offended, I don't want either my tastes or lack of knowledge to leave you with a so-so comment.
