Before you start to read about me let me assure you that my use of "!!!!" are not at yells as one site member believes, but they show how strongly I feel about what I have said in a sentence!!!!  Any of you whoes poems commented on know I use these marks a lot in them as well!!!!!!!   Please don't judge me by the marks I use in my writing..... 

 

I am a 57yrs old poet who is disabled from my primary career as a RD, MS. PH.D.  I was married to the love of my life at 14yrs.  He was 17yrs!!  No, we did not have to get married!  We were very much in love!!!!!!!   After we were married I went on to finish high school, my BS and my MS...  People told my parents I would not finish high school marring so young...  Well, they were wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!   Although, you can't tell by looking at me, I have MS, Lupus, had 5 strokes and an uncountable number of mini strokes!!!!!   After finishing a tour in the US Air Force, my husband and love of my life was killed on his job when our youngest of three children was 3yrs old!!!!!!!!!!   I thought I was going to die too. I could not!!!!  I had three small children to raise!!!!  Three years later my mother died, then my father and then my grandmother.....   I thought I was alone!!!!!!!  But, no I wasn't I had three beautiful children and I had the LORD!!!!   HE has kept me going for all these years and continues on 'til now!!!!!!!!!!!   My children all turned out pretty good, I think!!!!!!!!   They are great parents and my oldest son and daughter are managers at the companies where they work!!!!!!   My youngest is a son and lives very near me, now.   He is not married but has a son and a daughter and is a manager with my ,now, husband's tree service company. I think they turned out pretty good.....   although, there were some rocky times over the years......... I know their father, grand mothers and grand  fathers would have been proud!  

                                                                  I am only human.  There have been times in my live when I've worn or will wear all these faces.    I try to keep these on most of the time!!!!!!!

 

  I consider myself a strong woman!!!!  To get to know me better, please read my poem,

 There is only one thing, now, in my life, besides my children, grand children and my poetry that anyone can  get me on my "soap box" about and that  is  MY LORD and SAVIOR JESUS. CHRIST  JESUS is working with me on this. So, please be patient with me, GOD is not through with me yet!

Ten Sayings I live by! 

 

Number1

JESUS is my mother, farther, sister, brother, husband, counselor, doctor, lawyer, friend  and my all in all!

Life is a precious commodity treat it as the valuable possession that it is.......

Give your loved ones flower and gifts while they can still smell, see and taste them.  keeping a grave or vault adorned is not for your loved one's pleasure, only for other people.  Your loved one doesn't live there anymore.

Never allow anyone to steal your joy, no matter how hard they try!!!!!!!!!!!

I have traveled extensively, but I've not been to the two places I want most to go, Italy and

My hobbies are: writing and reading poetry, also, good novels, cross stitch, collecting music boxes, Angels and Cherubs.

In my spare time, if there is any, I take classes at the University to keep my RD current, following all of Tyler Perry plays, going to see The Alvin Halley dancers   (been a long time since I've this..don't know if they still dance since his death)  and fill in when I need to as a secretary for our business..  I, also, like horror movies and most all music!!
