I yield palms to charcoal skies
As though attempting to pour out -
On the other side of the bars
With ludicrous strips of colour -
Riding through treacle cavern
Tunnel snaking through spectral trees -
She lured the ancient serpent
Thirsty dragon from the flames -
Lingeringly I lift the blade
And slice off the skin on my face -
Bodhi tree spreads shade
Over man on quest for truth -
Whirling white circle of fire
Rushes around the lands -
