And though I'm sure you processed the words -
You've given me things

E ven though we're only teenagers -
Must you be so sweet?
You worry incessantly -
Thoughts of you
Consume my every -
I spent the entire day
Trying to touch up -
I never thought before today
That pain could be so surreal -

Depression weighs me down
Like gravity in quicksand -
Sitting on the bus
Traveling mile after mile -
Images of war
Are pasted everywhere, -
