But my mind is drowning in them -
Burning down my cheeks are the tears of Resentment
Mommy knows best was always a lie -
I am thinking of you
You’re always crossing my mind -
You are seeking out redemption
With your phony tears -
I am just going to put my trust in you
And hope you can deal with all my little quirks -
"I want to touch you like a cleansing rain
Let it wash all the hurt away" -
Encompassed through out a poem
Even the most simplistic of minds could pick out -
I am sick and tired
I tried so hard to shove it down -
It is not your words
Which have grown bothersome -
I will build myself a wall
Towering miles high -
Let’s swim in to the depths of the darkest seas
And pick through the remnants of sunken ships
