COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES
As a child I was always taught to paint the sky blue and the grass green.
I was told to be careful and paint inside the lines.
WHY DID THEY DO THAT?
Life is too full of possibilities to conform to unimportant rules that in the end don't matter.
Rules like that stifle our creativity and halt our progress to achieve our full potential.
So, go ahead, splash a violet and melon and chartreuse all over your work---and splatter it on the floor if the spirit so moves you.
For now is the time to embrace your creativity.
BREAK THE RULES ... and whatever you do, don't worry about staying within the lines!

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely, or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy amidst the simple beauty of nature.

This story was sent to me by a friend.

A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to leave the exam room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side."
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining. As he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness. Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was on the other side. He knew nothing except his master was here, and when the  door opened, he sprang in without fear.. I know little about what lies on the other side of death, but I do know one thing ... my Master is there and that is enough."

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be I believe that friends are angels who lift us up to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

This little saying made me laugh:
Grant me the wisdom to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had killed today because they pissed me off!

THIS WEEK THE UK REMOVED THE HOLOCAUST FROM ITS SCHOOL CIRRICULUM BECAUSE IT OFFENDED THE MUSLIM POPULATION WHICH CLAIMED IT NEVER OCCURRED! MAY THEY BURN IN HELL!

WHY WE LOVE CHILDREN

 

A kindergarten pupil told his teacher he'd found a cat, but it was dead. "How do you know the cat was dead?" she asked him. "Because I pissed in it's ear and it didn't move," answered the child innocently. "You did WHAT!!" the teacher exclaimed in surprise. "You know," explained the boy, "I leaned over and went PSST! and it didn't move."

 The Soldier

I’ve fought up on high mountains,
on dry deserts and on plains.
I’ve fought in dazzling sunshine,
and in snowfalls and in rains.

I’ve fought my way through hedgerows,
and on dozens of distant beaches. 
I’ve fought in dark infested swamps,
with their gators, snakes and leeches.

I’ve fought in ice cold foxholes,
when feet were frozen numb.
I’ve fought in stifling jungle heat,
and rice patty’s stinking scum.

I’ve fought down in dark tunnels,
and in fields laden with flowers.
I’ve been badly wounded in battle,
and lay there alone for hours. 

I’ve fought with blind and total fury,
and with gut wrenching fears.
I’ve knelt beside downed comrades,
and I could not hide my tears.

I’ve fought with muskets and with lasers,
with my helmet and my fists.
I’ve fought hand to hand many times,
those my bullets may have missed.

I’ve fought from behind stone walls,
from trenches and from tanks.
I’ve paraded in splendid court yards,
as people gave their thanks.

I’ve fought valiantly with honor,
in every fight that I was in.
I’ve asked only for recognition, 
for wars they would not let me win.

My name is there on Bunker Hill,
and on the Big Black Wall.
I am your American soldier,
and I still am standing tall.
