*Uhhhhhh.... Howdy!! watcha all been doin' in these parts? hehe lol.
No I'm not a texan but its fun to talk like that don't ya think? Try it sometime!
Well, um... My name is David, and thanks for visting my site!
Yeah, so... Ohhh guess you wanna know some stuff about me, huh?? Well lets see.... I like to play just about any sport. I may not be good at them all but I try! I'm really involved with Boy Scouts and love the outdoors and stuff. I find that I think best when I'm outdoors, wandering in woods, biking, etc. I'm more of the quiet, shy, type. I would rather be down at the park, exploring with my dog, than hanging out at a "party".
My role-models? Well, apart from the Bliblical characters: Job, David, JESUS, Peter... I would have to say it's somewhere in-between Jonathan Edwards, my youth pastor, and Spiderman. Yeah, strange combo there.
I play electric/acoustic guitar in my youth groups'worship band, but have yet to start up a band of my own--But that might change soon.
I am a *Christian* (that is I have a relationship with the creator of the world), and I have been for as long as I can remember. But it wasn't until about 3 years ago that I "found" the Lord in a *REAL* way though. I knew about God and beleived everything about Him, but I didn't rely on Him and trust Him with my life. Since I was 12 though, I have had my moments where I get off the path, but have tried to live my life to please God. (He is the only person worth living for.) I've found my life as a Christian to not always be the easiest or the most enjoyable thing (I've been through a few hard trials) but I know there is nothing on earth that can compare to the joy and peace that knowing the Lord brings. God is sooo awesome! He's my everything and I pray that you will see that reflected in my poetry. I'm not much of a writer, though.
Well, thanks for visiting!!

Ohhh yeah, here's some of my favorite quotes (ya know, that should be spelled kwotes?? it makes so much more sense) Anyways... here they are:
-"The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to him. By God’s help, I aim to be that man."
*Dwight L. Moody
-"To take up your cross you have to first lay down your burdens."
*Me
-"With great power comes great responsibility."
-"The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat."
-"To realize the importance of one millisecond, ask the person who won a silver medal in the olympics."
-"I can live three months on a good compliment."
-"Carpe Diem boys, seize the moment."
-"If you don't manage your time, someone else will for you."
-"I must decrease that He may increase"

He's a lost and lonely child,
Stumbling and wandering in a a dark, cold world, -
I am alive, but I'm not living,
I speak, but not in words -
Has you presence left me standing alone?
