HEY all poets .
Im really glad someone constructed a decent website for poetry... I am Lebanese, a specialist at being Lebanese (proud to say)
.. and I have made some friends on AP. A special salute to my one and only true LOVE , my BIBO FADI (Pegasus), he introduced me to this website, I love you habibi!
I write alot.. and i depend on a muse in my life. I need extreme feelings, love, madness, sadness...Actually, at most of the times, the feelings expressed in my poems are exaggerated! That's how it works with me!
Life
Writers described life each in their own manner: “life is carrot..., a rollercoaster, a flower..., life is too short...” Till now, to me, the most perfect description and simile hasn’t been made. Each had been considered true, deep, and touching in a great deal. Their thoughts attracted much respect to have the writers implied to internationally...
Even as we live along, it will never be drawn; this in my own personal opinion is thought of. Therefore, pretentious to have pictured the best photograph of life, I try my best to describe it from my perspective. I try hard to gain a more loveable opinion from the readers in having given life a most suitable adjective, a most suitable simile for life. I draw it according to what it means to me, how I interpreted it with others, and of course, relate it highly to its “creator”; thus to deliver the perfectly drawn picture, the faultlessly symbolizing object for life.
Hoping to impress, I begin the daring art of describing. Life is when a raging storm devastates all at the sight, as when trouble and rigor abruptly show up destroying hope and tying a duplicated knot through life’s circumstances. Life is when all is calm, not hot nor cold, as when you stand thoughtless and have no worries or hardship to conquer. Life is when you sit in a four-walled tiny room with no air, water, or food, as when you are surrounded by danger and your whole life passes right before your eyes and you face death. A storm will come and go and peace will too. However, the basic concept is that each life has a story to be started, ended, and written by someone.
Consequently, life is similar to a cigarette and the burning of its ashes. The child is born and the flame burns. At some spot, the smoker would think he has had enough and put it off. That smoker may inhale the cigarette right till the end or even stop at the first. The ashes keep on burning as the life keeps on going, step by step, ash by ash, until one instant it is destined to end. Each life is watched and analyzed, every tiny or huge happening is considered to be. A miraculous God exists up there, he is that observer and he, himself, is the smoker that claims to put out the flame of the cigarette or smoke furthermore. Therefore, he is the one analyzing our lives, pushing us through the right path, dragging us away from danger, and lecturing us indirectly to move far from evil. Then, with the utmost considerations of all the ashes that were burnt and all the flames dealt with, he would come to a point where he would decide to put out the flames of life, and then judge.
The Spell
If I had eyes to see
Life would blind me
If I were wise enough
Life would stupefy me
If I knew what to say
Life would fill my mouth with stutter
If there was help on the way
Life would kill me before it comes
If I held on to my bliss
Life would attack me with irrelevant tears
If I still had a heart to love
Life would cease the pump
If I served well for those in need
Life would arouse depreciation and regret
If I , by any chance, remained alive
Life would snatch my last breath away
Damn the greed!
But I will persist, and resist, to subsist.
