I prefer to write freestyle poetry, I don't like the idea of conforming to what someone thinks is a good poem. I write what I feel and also what I see. Sometimes I can be sitting somewhere with a notepad in front of me and all of the sudden a poem will just pop into my head, but I won't feel the emotions till later. It's almost like i take on some random persons pain and make it my own, then i release it through my pen.
