HumblpyeShow poetry

Hi, I am two people, one is John Scott the other is Humblpye.
Although we are identical physically, we 'live' in two very different worlds,
John has his feet firmly on terra firma while Humblpye is a vagabond and a dreamer and inhabits a very strange world where reality and matter, time and space have no meaning whatever...we need each other for purpose of balance.

One of us is a teacher of great knowledge and wisdom, and absolute tolerance and patience! I imagine him as John, although it may be the other way around...these are only names.

I believe my 'soul' purpose in this life is to learn whatever my 'higher self' has to teach me; so that one day I will be ready to come face to face and be joined with him or her, whichever the case may be.

Some people speak of Guardian Angels; it doesn't matter what you call them!
Meanwhile back at the ranch, I live in a strange little town called Corby in Northamptonshire England.

Although I was born in the UK, I regard my true home as Africa, where I spent most of my life. This "divided loyalty" is reflected in many of my poems.

As a young man, I travelled the folk circuit as a singer/ songwriter, but my sagittarian nature always pulled me towards poetry.

I am attracted to all things artistic, natural and beautiful; metaphysical and mystical; I am a dreamer and a seeker of true things.

I am inspired by everything in life and its creature inhabitants, I marvel every day seeing something new, in me and you

I love: true things; Love, It's not where you look but how you look for it

Music: All of it! the whole universe resonates to the mathematical vibrations of sound.
Fave musical artist: All of them; but specific influences;

Tom Waits,

Neil Young,

Dylan,

Pogues + anything Irish,

Bee Gees,

Beatles,

Bob Seger

Metallica....

Phobias: things that wobble, worse, if they make a noise when they wobble..

Claustrophobia!, it flies in the face of infinity

Fave Quotes:
