A little about Tiffany:

I love literature, english and writing! I wish I could make it my career, but i am realistic enough to know I cant. Well, I suppose I could, but I might end up living in a trash can. I hear those things don't have showers...

I love sunshine and the beach, good music, poetry and stories. Art- mostly photography- and I'm really awesome at it.

Oh, I also love animals! I have a lot of them.
ANd I consider myself a BAMF. If you don't know what that means, you are unworthy JK

~Wherever snow falls, or water flows, or birds fly, wherever day and night meet in twilight, wherever the blue heaven is hung by clouds, or sown with stars, wherever are forms with transparent boundaries, wherever are outlets into celestial space, wherever is danger, and awe, and love, there is Beauty
- Emerson
~Ambition is a poor excuse for not having sense enough to be lazy. HA

~Love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life

~there is a big difference between being dragged and being carried. The difference is in Who is accompanying me.

~Lets explore! If we don't find something plesant, at least we'll have discovered something new.
- Voltaire

~"Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words." - Robert Frost

~" There's a light at each end of this tunnel, you shout
But you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
These mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you only try turning around.

2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, its no longer
inside of me, threatening the life they belong to
And i feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to

Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button now
Sing it if you understand.
and breathe, just breathe"

- Anna Nalick- Breathe

How do you know that you cannot become a full-time writer? Or, rather, make your living by writing? (Which is what I suppose you meant - for it should be easy enough to make "English" as a career... by teaching it!)

When I was seven years old, my class-teacher (a retired journalist, who had gone into teaching during World War II, to release someone younger for the forces), told me that whatever career I chose, I should also train as a writer, so that, whatever happened, I would always have "something safe to fall back on!" I did not really relish that prospect... but I did as she said... began selling my work at 15, and since leaving university in 1961 have supported myself, my late mother in her last years, occasional indigent students and a poetry magazine, entirely on my earnings as a writer... And this, in spite of having during the 1960s been virtually crippled with asthma (luckily it eventually yielded to the new steroids.)

But "writing poetry on-line", although pleasant, will not -even in the early 21st century - be sufficient for a writing career. You need to be sending out your manuscripts to the editors of what is still the "real world" of publishing - the print media.

    Good luck with it.
