I don't consider myself to be a poet, I don't know what I would consider myself on any given day. I'm somewhere in between, in between what? I couldn't even tell you that. I write and read for therapy...At some point I fell off track and I'm not ready to get back on yet. I can't move, I don't expect you to understand this. I didn't even expect to admit that, I reason it up to "having too much fun" but thats not the truth. I'm sorry to admit that sometimes when I read happy poems- it pisses me off, other times i read a pissed off poem and I'm happy. Pretty Screwed huh?

When you arrive on the unit as a staff member you sit in report. The nurse from the previous shift updates the the staff on the day of the 32 patients on the unit. As I walk in the report room I am greeted by a middle aged man. He has a bunch of papers in his hand. He smiles ans says "I get so nervous in here"April 9, 400 words. → 7 comments, Add one?

I go to work this morning to sign-off on the med sheets. Wouldn't you know, here comes the black cloud of life...The ex. "Shoulda worked with me, I don't bite. Punch in..."code 22 unit 1, code 22 unit 1". I ran to the unit to find a patient that tried to kill me 6 months ago. He notices me and runs toward me..he was stopped. It took 12 staff to stop him! My supervisor tells me I can't stay on the unit because "he's upsetting the patients by telling them he's going toApril 5, 400 words. → 17 comments, Add one?
