My name is Eric, and I am 31 years old (and counting).

I used to write all the time as a kid and received many awards for poetry back in the day. Then, one day, I gave it up and quit writing all together. Lately, a fire has been reignited and I've decided to start writing again and see what I come up with.

You're not going to find dark, suicidal, crazed thoughts here. You won't find blatantly intellectual poetry here (I try to hide my intellectual side). I want everyone to be able to read and comprehend what I say. Poetry is for everyone.

I'd rather use clever wordsmithing than drop a word like hippopotamonstrosesquippedaliophobia (medical term for the fear of big words... irony) in the middle of a poem.

Oh, and I rhyme, most of the time... deal with it.

My AP Family:

This young lady is a growing writer, and truly like a sister to me. Great to talk to, and sadly (for me), she's so intelligent it's probably only 1-2 years before she can out debate me. The only male member of my AP family to date. We often don't see eye to eye on poetry, but have built a strong relationship with each other. A great guy to have on your side. My AP brother: Arkbear

Another sister for me... she writes very inspired poetry and is constantly looking for ways to get better. She thinks I'm funny... yet everything I write is serious. 8-) Well, here she is, check her out...
