Wise Poets Society

I thought since the young have their groups, possibly the over fifty crowd should have our own.  In order to be a member of the "Wise Poets Society" you must be fifty years or older, have a desire to assist one another with critiques and suggestions to improve our own and other's poetry. Basically, a group for us curmudgeons, most think are over the hill!

Hopefully you will have been writing poetry for some time by now, or perhaps its a new passion. Whichever, if you feel you have something to offer, whether it be a good joke or just good advice, you are welcome to join!

I would like this to be a place we can discuss our work and possibly hold contests in the future. The requirements are as follows:

1. Over 45
2. Good sense of humor
3. Wisdom (anyone over 45 automatically has some)
4. No desire to cut or mutilate yourself
5. A desire to work with people to improve and assist.
