Pamela & Lyndon invite all members of Winklings report [even by an acknowledging wink] to the forum weekly unless busy lifestyles or illness prevent it. [ In the main, we already know fine members who, for various reasons, at times cannot manage regular trips to the Forum or Group Board.]
This is a group of mature poets who place honest but sensitive critiquing level with if not above trophy collecting. Not that we will not run contests for group members. We shall. The idea is that we have an opportunity to help each other non-emotively and, as far as we are able, try to put 'poetry' back firmly into Allpoetry.Our aim is to improve our free verse, our short forms, haiku, sonnets, nature poems, ballads, blank verse, monologues, elegies, pastorals, odes, villanelles , etherees, prose poems, song lyrics, nonsense rhymes and limericks, etc.
Lyndon's page is still our center for contests. We have judges appointed. There is a policy at the forum concerning judging.
All people in a contest are encouraged to comment in a positive way on fellow Winklers, at least. DO NOT DO THIS UNTIL CONTESTS ARE UNDER WAY ; AND, THEN, ALWAYS IN A LAUDATORY OR HELPFUL STYLE. No matter how a contest is judged, the results should be sent to the 'Lyndon Page' from whoever is assisting. Winkling Entrants, ideally.
