Epistomolus started this group to give prospective teachers a safe environment to practice the skills of giving complete and thoughtful commentary on other people's work.
Members post their own poem, then comment on all other members' poems. Members can discuss their ideas and comments in the chat space, and help each other to build the skills needed to teach an AllPoetry class.
Epistomolus will also visit the group regularly and comment on the commentary to give some helpful tips.
To be admitted to this group, you must enroll in (or have completed) the AP Teacher Assistant course.
