Inspiring Games is about thought-provoking competition, where the challenges created stretch format and form, as well as the core or creativity.
This group is about support, friendship, growth, mastery, fun, and the spirit of participation.
Challenges will be offered in a contest of rounds. There will be a cojudge with me, for this series of games is Camille Morin. There will be no particular number of persons designated to pass into subsequent rounds. Simply, with the assistance of my cojudge, some will "make it" and some "will not make it" to the next part of the contest.
The allotted time to complete tasks will be ample, and as such, time should be invested for greatness. Time between rounds will be at my discretion, but will never lack a continuity and flow becoming of a great contest.
I am pleased that we achieved well over the required 20 members to launch the first contest in one day. The group will hold 50 total. Beyond that, judging would become too time-consuming.
Points will be awarded. Much by me, and perhaps at times in the form of a lottery, where all members who participate in the challenge donate a set number of points.
Certainly, the group members will be encouraged to periodically post poetry for considerate commentary, however, it will be upon everyone's social grace whether or not to support his fellow poet, and not seen as a responsibility of the group or administrators. Three posted poems from each member allowed at any one time. Beyond that removal from lists to make room for new writes. Appropriate review time will be allowed for all writes.
