Graduate Seminar on the Sonnet

I've had very kind feedback on the Gentle Introduction to the Sonnet class. Several people were wondering if there were going to be an advanced course. I don't see a need for that: once you've learned the essential form, you can experiment with variations or just keep honing your skills. What might be helpful is an ongoing workshop where we share and comment on sonnets and other formal poetry.

This group is restricted to people who have completed the Gentle Introduction to the Sonnet class. This way, we all know what to expect, and are already grounded in the same basic philosophy toward sonnet writing.

Please do not apply for the group until you have completed the Gentle Introduction to the Sonnet, as you will be gently rejected.
