Rambles and writings on cynicism, nihilism between utopias and dystopia.
Gothchyld started writing poems since 2004, initially as a stress relief but eventually poetry turns itself into a professional art.
My poems tend to be free verse, as I feel that rhymes restrict my experimentation on themes and styles. Occassionally, I write sonnets and haikus.
The themes are usually based on the darker sides of society, and society has transformed into my playground lately especially with the changes in peoples' behaviour or reaction towards moralities.
UPDATE: I am officially semi-retiring from my classic free verses, Katherine Mansfield's stories have turned me on with prose-poetry.
For all my cynic friends:
F.I.R - Fly Away

English version:
~Fly away
Don’t care ‘bout the amount tears sweat spent
As long I have power to persist
Nothing I will be afraid.~
Early sunrise breeze; How simple is that
Looks so easy; Fog dissipates
Warming sunlight rays; I slowly awaken
Prepare to face the trials.
In the new century; Shun away the past
Whether good bad; Learn to let go
Follow your own dreams; Not as easy as thought
I still need to be brave.
Memories’ like a whirl pool pulling me with it
The time clock has rung; I shant stay longer.
Chorus:
Fly away
Don’t care ‘bout the amount tears sweat spent
As long I have power to persist
Nothing I will be afraid.
Fly away; Don’t care ‘bout difficult future
I can still feel my heartbeats still there
Nothing I will be afraid.
~In the new century; Shun away the past
Whether good bad; Learn to let go
Follow your own dreams; Not as easy as thought
I still need to be brave.~
Memories’ like a whirl pool pulling me with it
The time clock has rung; I shant stay longer
Chorus:
Fly away
Don’t care ‘bout the amount tears sweat spent
As long I have power to persist
Nothing I will be afraid.
Fly away; Don’t care ‘bout difficult future
I can still feel my heartbeats still there
Nothing I will be afraid. (x2)

DeepDarkDesire on November 13, 2006NP, I am always honoured to comment on such beautiful works. In turn just as I, am honoured for you to comment on my works, I appreciate it-honestly. I am currently seeing into getting my works published-with 50% of the sales to my pocket
Though at the ripe age of 7 I had a poem published called 'The Rokodillo' and at 9 my fathers effort paid off (he kept entering me into competitions in order to find my talent-he thought I'd be a musician or a performing artist!) and I won a prize called 'The future in bigger feet' which was pretty big! Over-all I was named a young know-it-all with a tendancy to answer back too much by the judges
they also thought I was a little boy ^^ Lol. I'd be interested to read your origionally published poem if you still own a copy. -
DeepDarkDesire on November 13, 2006Hehey, would you comment on this poem please, your critisism makes for interesting reading and sense.

DeepDarkDesire on November 5, 2006Heyhey, sorry to bother you again, I was just wondering if you could take the time to read my latest poem. I enjoyed your last review and I would really appreciate your input.-allpoetry.com/Poem/2314282-thanks for your time

slavetothemusic on November 3, 2006Hey, I'm ok, just stressed out a bit with all the UCAS things- I got the welcome letter and I submitted it ahead of time but I've gotten an email from oxford saying they havent gotten my UCAS app. My interview went pretty well I think, the interviewer was australian and I think that put me at some ease. The LNAT I had to take on the other hand was pretty awful, I don't think I did myself justice. Ah well... what can you do? Hope you're not under too much stress, take care xx
