Welcome traveler, wanderer among the words,
I greet you with a simple Joy from beyond the sky,
From beyond the stars,
O Joy, this radiance from the embers of your birth
O Joy from beyond the beyond and all that its worth
An ancient Joy anew, a lost Joy found in you
A Joy, THE Joy that finally lets you see me
Like sunshine that at last lets me see you
This Joy cradles your forgotten self and says shhhh…
Permit the silence of your heart to touch this Joy
And away on golden waves rush throughout the universe
This Joy, O perfect Joy that comes to claim me
Will this be the rapturous day that I will find thee?

I have a gift for you since you have come from so far away…
Would you like to see what it is?
Then close your eyes…
And picture this Joy around the outside of your heart
Until you feel its warmth, when it will trust once again
When it will open only a little
To let the Joy out that it should BE the gift
That continues its journey, along the original plan,
The first intent you ever, ever had
You see, I know whose eyes are reading this
I thought you should know
That I know how hard its been, how long your journey’s lasted
Across vast oceans of time…
I remember you.
I hold this light, this Joy for you
And this caramelized kiss upon your cheek.

I AM (as we all are)
