Well I am Freewill and I live in a large town in the North of England. I love England and where I live and it is most definitely my home. I'm knocking on a bit now as I am 30!! My life hasn't been one of total joy but that was the past and today is the beginning of the rest of my life. I'm in love with the most wonderful man and he loves me back which is the most amazing feeling in the world. I really think things are starting to look up for me now!!!
My life's ambition is that when i die people will remember me for being a nice person who did some good in the world. I love people and will always do whatever I can to help them. People have previously asked me if i would die for a friend and the answer would quite simply be yes. I believe in the right for each and every person to be valued and there is no room for prejudice and hate in this world (only towards myself.. lol).
Ernest Hemingway once said "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for". Well that is so true and it's time we as people of this world started to appreciate what we have and start looking after it. We only have one go at this life and this planet... lets make the best of it!
I don't think my poetry is very good and so do not post it on here to feed my ego or anything like that. I just like to write about anything really but it generally tends to be my thoughts and feelings. I like to be inspired by others and this place has encouraged me to write new things I would never have dreamed of writing before.
Most of the battles of life
are won
by looking beyond the
clouds to the sun.
And having patience to
wait for the day
when the sun comes out
and the clouds float away.
