~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                       yesterdays' heartaches
                                  are healed by hopes of today
                              and dreams of a perfect tomorrow
                                                                                - by  fortyninereasons
We are the music makers,
we are the dreamers of dreams
wandering by lone-sea breakers
and sitting by desolate streams;
world-losers and world-forsakers
on whom the pale moon gleams
We are the movers and shakers
of the world forever, it seems.
For each age is dream that is dying,
or one that or coming to birth
Ode to a Friend
For all the little ditties
On paper she does write
Remembering her childhood
Thoughts angelic not in sight
You see she is a devil
Not a halo to be found
Intoxicating wishes
Never keep her underground
Ever coming to the forefront
Rough and tumble does she like
Evenings just wouldn’t be the same
Always a pure delight
So put your hands together
Offer giggles in return
Never think this girl an angel
She’ll just turn and bite your bum
Upon The Wings Of Friendship
May the day bring a flower
to your heart
and the rhythm of the world
flow with the beauty of your smile
Painting colors
of laughter across a note
may a kiss be bestowed
upon an Angel's soul,
sheltering a brittle heart
may she find the one who will gift her with
the ability to see the beauty everyone else can see
for the touch of an Angel is truly a gift only the worthy receive
Upon a path of doubt she walks
though beauty flows through her veins,
she smiles and the world holds it's breath,
for Angel's sing in harmony of such grace
and peace as she bestows the world
a majestic master piece
Like a butterflies touch
she lingers in your soul
scents of lavender kiss the lips
of the blessed, she calls friends
Victorian From Downunder
She arrived here as
a visitor, departed
my good friend; and still
her presence yet flows from Oz:
wandering spirit of wind.
And as her muse goes
among tropical flowers,
a rare, true friendship-
like tranquil, calming waters,
reminds me the world remains
on its destined course
of elemental refrains;
a heart's pure beauty,
and loyalty above all-
I stand in awe, at peace now.
