Only through strife can you see the beauty in life. From abuse to domestic violence, from cancer to incurable diseases, to losing friends and family, to losing lovers and children. Major disasters to acts of god. All of us have had one. I have gone through all. The pain we hold inside ourselves is reflected in our lives as a whole. We do not realize this till it is pointed out. I draw eyes I sketch and paint. Whatever emotion I am feeling is the emotion that is reflected from the eye I draw. My poetry reflects what has happened what will come to be. No one person can tell the future for the acts of others influence us. I appreciate life more then most for all of these reasons. I am not saying I am better than anyone nor am I saying anything to offend. I have died twice. I have been saved more times than I can count. I am grateful to all those who were there and to those who have come to share in my memories and life. I have scars that reflect my past. Like a mirror I can see everything upon a person. People are not to be judged like a book, or like a poem. You must feel and read the emotions that come from deep within. I am a young woman, always learning new things. I am a bisexual, loving all who come to me. I do not deny any one person friendship until they have proven themselves to be hurtful or ignorant. I am proud of my self inflicted scars. For a very wise and beautiful friend once told me...
"Your scars are you badges...your merits in a sense...they show who you are, and how you went through hell...and you survived."
