THE PEACE POEM
By John Denver (1982)

There's a name for war and killing
There's a name for giving in
When you know another answer
For me the name is sin
But there's still time to turn around
And make all hatred cease
And give another name to living
And we could call it PEACE.
And peace would be the road we walk
Each step of the way
And peace would be the way we work
And peace the way we play
And in all we see that's different
And in all the things we know
Peace would be the way we look
And peace the way we grow
There's a name for seperation
There's a name for first and last
When it's all of us or nothing
For me the name is past
But there still is time to turn around
And make all hatred cease
And give a name to all the future
And we could call it PEACE
And if peace is what we pray for
And peace is what we give
Then peace will be the way we are
And peace the way we live
Yes there still is time to turn around
And make all hatred cease
Let's give another name to living
And we can call it PEACE

Dreamweaver on July 29My Dear. Dear Mal ..... Yes. it's me .... Sammy!
No doubt Katie may have filled you in but if not I'll give you a brief account. I have had a terrible couple of years past resulting in me becoming a permanent resident at a retirement home / hospital. I have access to a pc but no email address so I'll have to communicate here until I can work something out.
I have missed you greatly and it is good being back in touch.
Love You
God Bless
Sammy

Curtkf : Just wanted to say hi, on July 28I'm feeling somewhat nostalgic, wandering around to sites that I used to hold near and dear to my heart and now… just don’t seem to find time for anymore. There are so many people that I felt so close to, you included, that I have just lost contact with. Things that I enjoyed doing that I just can’t fit into my life right now.
I wanted you to know that I have been thinking of you, and hoping that all is well with you and yours.

wishintreeUK on July 25Hi Mal my dear friend, just got back from a month in Cornwall... it was wonderful. Monty travelled well, however, he now has swollen hocks! when we boxed him, they wouldn't allow us to put leg protectors on, said if they came undone the horse may start to mess around and get himself tangled up. He was fine when we unloaded him and for the first week, then his hocks (both at first) now just the one became swollen, we have cold hosed him down everyday and have been using arnica gell etc, one seems to be ok now, the other still has fluid? Hayley is ringing the vet to go out today. He isn't lame, it's just the swelling and Hayley won't ride him in case it makes it worse. He is stabled now and hes not a happy bunny!! I do hope you are doing ok Mal, take care and keep in touch. Megga hugs and loadsa sqidges for your lot. Katie xx
