Hello, my name is Mary. I have been writing poems since I was 19 and just haven't stopped... I'll start my account off by uploading a handful of poems I've written since then in order of then-up-to-now, and I'll keep adding over time. I'm a music person and so you'll notice I feel more comfortable writing rhythmically, and in a style that looks kind of verse-chorus-verse esque. In fact over the course of the past couple of years I've started writing songs, too, and those often start off as poems anyway so I'll include some of those, too. I warn you the things I write often tend to be rather gloomy and pessimistic; I hope I don't depress you. I promise I'm not really a negative person; it's just that often writing poems is the only way I really know how to express the darker feelings.
