Performing poetry is designed to perform/deliver a thought-provoking 'act' to the reader.  Easily accessible so that you may ponder and produce your response to the poem without effort. 

Introducing FantasySmurf previously known as Silver, War Child, and Therese.  I live in Dunedin, South Island, Aotearoa (New Zealand), "choice eh bro?".  I have been writing poetry since high school, where everyone realised that I had a talent. I never really took myself seriously, but kept up the writing and publishing.

• I am part Maori, part Scottish and proud to be a kiwi!  I can sometimes be construed as arrogant, but "that's just pride f_____g widcha" - Ving Rhames as Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction.

I looove sport and wish I had the co-ordination of my limbs to partake.  Alas!  (You should see me try to dance.)  My favourite sports are A1GP motor racing, Netball, Kickboxing, one-day long cricket matches, America's Cup yachting (though Im getting put off by all the politics - its just a SPORT!) and really enjoy watching world events, the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.  I also strongly support Tibet, so I'm an activist in Human Rights, as well as the rights of animals, children and the defenceless.

The Introvert Vs. The Extrovert

I have a vast range of subjects, themes and styles. I feel it’s the words that decide how they should appear on the page - I just write them down! (And of course edit afterward).  Some offensive language may occur - yes Im over 18!!!  It has been censored for the younger viewers of whom I do not wish to follow in my rebellious footsteps.  If anybody holds offense to my true expressionism - I apologise in advance.

I believe we can make this world a better place.
It gives me great pleasure to write and love sharing my thoughts to all who listen.

• A hint to all out there...   In your AUTHOR NOTES, pleeeease do not put "This is rubbish", "I suck" or whatever self-pitying remarks.  Because when I read it I feel like you're fishing for my sympathy.  If you really feel that way - THEN WORK ON IT UNTIL YOU'RE HAPPY AND THEN POST IT.  But hey, its your life... I just hate feeling manipulated.

If you like, I am also on MySpace - fantasysmurf.  Where I have lots of my rants and raves in pure essay-ish form.  Sometimes you just have to come out and say it straight!
