THIS IS WHO I AM:

Thoughts are powerful because of emotions. Thoughts can turn you into a mighty warrior or a fear filled wimp. Thoughts can take you to dark places you don't want to be. Dark thoughts and negativity can kill - don't go there.

But a conscious act of writing words of power will automatically lead your mind down the path of power and passion. By your own hand therefore, you have the power to design your life instead of being a victim of it.

You can choose to be a warrior, filled with passion and determination or you can let the world turn you into a fearful wimpy mouse. Geeeze what a pathetic way to live. . . like a scrawny skittish cat filled with worry and fear and apprehension of the future. What fool would want to be a pathetic creature caught in a web of worry and dire anxiety.

So write words that will make you powerful, passionate and bursting with energy. Yeah! Take the first step and soon you too will stand in awe of the forces you have unleashed inside of you.

So make the jump and unleash a brightness that will be a new you

And with the first light of your new dawn, the gates to your prison shall be ripped from their hinges and you shall burst into the light and there stand in awe of the creation that has always been inside of you. Yeah!

So take up a sword and take up a shield and marshal your passions and your dreams and your desires and lead them into battle against that jackal thief of your better life. Give a mighty shove and crash through the bars of your old fearful self. Yeah, today will be the first day of a new life's attitude and it shall be one of power and passion and unstoppable determination.

Yeah mount your battle horse.
On to the battle to slay the thief of your dreams and your better life.

Make the earth tremble with the charge of your legions. See the flash of lightening sparked by your sword and the rolling thunder from the storm of your passion and determination.

Feel your blood boil with renewed purpose and eyes like eagles filled with intensity and a cold stare on your face ready for the battle.

See how quickly Fate and Destiny step aside to let you pass. Yeah, see them tremble at sound of your approach.

So let the anger rise in you and let it set your heart aflame and let your blood boil and let there be a proclamation that a new day and a new determination has dawned.

And never again will you allow your better future to be held hostage by that thieving Jackal.

Yeah! This will be the first day of a new fantastic life. You will do things you never thought possible. You will live an incredible life and you will stand in awe of all that you have created in your life.

See that to become the Champion of your life you must become involved in great struggles and great dreams and thereby capture the thrill and wonderment of all that you were meant to be.

Lead your rebellion and give it all that is within you. Yeah, better to die in a glorious battle then to whimper away your life under a bed, devoid memories of all that you accomplished, devoid of heart wrenching memories of all the great battles and all the dreams that came true for you.

So mount-up upon your great wings of passion

and see

That the purpose of struggling and wining, surging forward, sometimes losing but overcoming, is to feel the Exhilaration and the Thrill and the Excitement and the Power of being Triumphant! . .Yeah!!

I'd be happy to read more of your writes. And yes, quite true that it's best to ignore the silly people with little minds. You have a lot to read and I see that you've won many awards - I'm impressed.

thank you so much for stopping by my pages . A lot of the entries that you read were those that I had written years ago on notepads and scraps of paper. I did some editing and a bit of revising and posted them as more of a blog to self , rather than poetic merit . My, what I call better writes have only evolved in the last couple of years or so. I can't claim ownership of any particular form or style. I stink at rhyme and sometimes I find form poetry to be a bit too restricting. So mostly I do write free-form now . I find it to be best suited for my taste. As far as subject matter goes....I do believe there is also not one particular one. My Muse is an inspiration slut and I guess she is inspired by variety , even though it has been said that a lot of my writing is inspirational and spiritual (not in a religious sense), more so by the elements. I do hope that you will find that nugget and I welcome you to the site. May you enjoy your time here(there are some wonderful writers as well as all around great people on here). It is those that inspire me as well...and I pay little heed to the few that like to stir the fires
