EVIL ROMAN.
Evil Roman hails from the north of England. He has been performing
his poetry to live audiences for 34 years. During the late seventies
he toured extensivley as a support act for most of Englands top
punk/new wave bands earning him the title of "punk poet".
Twenty years later he lost his punk poet tag and often is
billed as the "peoples poet"
His first book "CONFESSIONS OF AN ANADIN ADDICT" was published in 1976 and is so rare that even the author himself does not posess a copy.
He was a member of the world famous ALBERT POETS and has been published in their anthology's.
A family man with six children his live appearances have been few over the last fifteen year due to family commitments and a lack of funding for live poetry events.
His last book"THE ARCHIVES OF THE MISSING SLATE" was published on the 22cnd of December 2000 and the first print run sold out the
same day. This obviously shows that there is still a demand for his work.
His poetry is a humorous and cynical view of every day life, relationships and people.
