Well... about me...
To describe my poetry, well, I guess I'll say it's a mish-mash of everything subject-wise. I can be inspired by nature, by history, books music, my own imagination, real life etc. Naturally if I'm feeling blue I will probably write a poem of my feelings, but never in emo-centric ways.
Writing is a catharsis for me (like anyone) but I want to write stuff that is different and varied, that covers alot of ground and can be ambiguous as well as easy to identify with. Kind of like Sylvia Plath, who I only got into recently thank to having to learn about her in school.
I love writing stories, poems and lyrics and I definately think and hope that one day I'll have that book in me published but my first love is and always will be my music.
My list of poetic influences grows by the day, but I really do love Stevie Smith, John Donne, Auden and the like
