Aheh. I tend to ramble incoherantly, but i'd like to think that some of my poetry makes some sort of sense. I'm not sure theres a lot more I can say, describing myself is not a forte..
...........
*As Wayne Gratzky so perceptively said, albeit in a different context but hey,...*
'100% of the shots you take don't go in'
But that doesn't mean you have to stop shooting, because if 100% of the shots you take don't go in, then the living is the shooting, and its the act of shooting you have to worry about, not whether the shot goes in. Now thats an analogy for you. So, I've decided that nothing is a means to an end, because the means IS the end. i don't really know what the hell this is all about, I just seem to have realised something today: that is doesn't matter what happened in the past, and it doesn't matter what happens in the future, I have to enjoy what I have today even if theres a danger it might mess up and whack me in the face: who cares?! Because today is what its all about.
So...plan for today: stop whining, get over it, stop thinking about what might go wrong with the beautiful things you have, and appreciate that what you don't have, you don't need, because craving is the root of all suffering... in the unequivocal words of Emile Cioran,
'Negation is the mind's first freedom, yet a negative habit is fruitful only so long as we exert ourselves to overcome it, adapt it to our needs; once acquired it can imprison us.'
Sorry for my random quoteage, but I think this best illustrates my point... instead of belaboring the negative, why not embrace it? and revel in yourself when you have overcome it, because overcoming it and emerging from it a better person, may be better than it not being there at all, without overcoming the negative aspects of life, we aren't even human.
*Thus ends 'Aimee's philosophical self-debate for the day'... w00t!...*
I have decided that this is somewhat blank, so, I shall divulge some random information about myself.. ok... lets see...

JimZombie on May 15, 2006Hi how are things with you? I haven’t had a chance to get online in months but I’ve finally got my own connection, hope you still log in and post from time to time and you’ll leave me a message. Read through your poems again and I am still as fond and inspired and daunted by them as when I first read them.
