Eternal-devotionShow poetry

I have been trying my hand at writing poetry for about 50 years. Some of them I like quite well others I am not to proud of. I just hope the ones that I share with the people on this program will bring pleasure and enjoyment.
My poems are on many subjects. I usually write about something I have seen, heard of or thought about. A lot of my poems tend to be reflective, spiritual or thought provoking. They are based on nature and people in all types of situations.
I tend to be very sensitive about life and the trying situations people happen to have to live through. My life has been a very hard one and I guess that is what led me to try my hand at poetry because it gave me an outlet for my feelings and it still does.
I thought that I might add something to this now that I have been on here a little while. When ever I attempt to comment on a poem or piece as I sometimes call what I'm reading I try to go by what the commentary asks of me. I also go to the authors page to learn something about him or her.
